If that is not possible, then spend an hour in prayer at home with the same purpose. Of course, if an hour is truly not possible, then make it a half hour.
As for specific prayers for lost souls, I like to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet for them. That continual calling down the mercy of God really gets to the heart of it.
Another prayer I like to pray is for particularly difficult cases, for spiritual warfare. It is a prayer from the chaplet of the Holy Face:
O God arise!
Let thy enemies be scattered!

The purpose of the exercise is to practice sharing the gospel. We certainly would permit someone to do so in conversation format if they are able to share the various parts of it that way.

In that vein (and maybe this is what you’re getting at), using your testimony of gradual growth through living the life of the Church could be a great way to share the good news of theosis through Jesus Christ. Create in God’s image, fallen from grace, but restored through faith, repentance, works of charity, and the Sacraments to become a true child of God, restoring his fuller likeness within us, eventually to be raised up to even greater participation in God’s nature in heaven. Of course, you wouldn’t say that all at once, but part by part in conversation.
