ParticipantThat sounds like a really good first street evang experience. How often will you be going out to evangelize? The best teacher is experience.

ParticipantAmen! The Lord is faithful!
Did you do the practical activity? Asking for more of the Holy Spirit for 9 days? If so, how did it go?

ParticipantThat is alright, Ruth Anne, to break it into multiple visits (2 or 3) to the Blessed Sacrament. The point is to have a more extended amount of time before the Lord, and 1 or 1.5 hours is enough for the purposes of the practical activity.
Sorry for not responding right away. For some reason I was no longer subscribed to this thread, so I was not getting notifications….

ParticipantWonderful!

ParticipantThank you, An Vuong!
You can certainly adjust this practical activity to apply to reaching out and praying for a Protestant who loves the Lord. Since he is a close friend, he’ll probably be willing to listen to you if you bring up issues surrounding Catholic/Protestant differences. If you feel prepared and comfortable talking about such things.
let us know if you have any questions, and keep us updated!

ParticipantPraise the Lord! What a wonderful gift to that woman!
It reminds me of 2 Corinthians chapter 1, which I was reading yesterday. You have taken the consolation/encouragement you’ve received from the Lord to console/encourage that discouraged woman.
