I’m just a fellow student but you may decide to look up videos on YouTube by Father Chad Ripperger because it sounds like demonic oppression. What Father Ripperger said to do was to consecrate what ever the demons are attacking to the Blessed Mother each day and if she accepts it the demons can not touch it.
What I understand is God permits stuff like this for our purification out of Love of us . Remember this world is not our home we don’t stay here.

I have found this story effective in getting across the understanding that we need to respond to God’s Love: Imagine you are in a trench during a war and the enemy throws a grenade in the trench and your friend throws himself on the grenade taking the blast and saving everyone. Then one of the guys says to your dead friend ” I didn’t ask you to do that” . You want to punch that guy in the mouth because instinctually you know that love requires a response.

I’m just a student here and I make my living by stocking shelves but I saw your post and it concerned me a little. Spiritually I’m still recovering from a point where I was pushing myself to hard. You should have a spiritual director look over your disciplines and mortifications. We have to be humble with what we burden ourselves with .

Please use the turbine story. I agree getting someone to pray is very effective, sadly one thing among many that I fail at is trying to gently get a commitment to pray on a daily basis even for a few minutes a day..
Anything I post is free to use, there is no need to ask but please post stuff that you have found effective and impactful.

I found this useful when talking to someone who had a lot of suffering in their life and was questioning why God allowed it: ” First thing that might help is that God didn’t spare Himself from suffering . That Jesus who is God suffered more than all of us put together “( * being seen by the Father with all of our sins on Him * Feeling the abandonedment of the Father would have infinite suffering due to the infinite Love Jesus has for the Father) and then ask this question ” If you were a father who loved your child would you cut the child’s arm off to punish them? ” they answer no . Then you ask ” if your child’s arm was caught in a turbine and it was pulling them in would you cut the arm off?” . They answer yes then you reply” so you would cut the child’s arm off out of love ?God can see the turbine when we can’t ” (( I have used this a few times and it has been effective))

I found this description of God’s Love impactful ” God Loves us so much that He gave us His only son Jesus Christ to die for us .Let me clarify this if you are a good father and you love your son who is harder to sacrifice yourself or your son (they answer but your response is nearly the same what ever they say) it’s more expensive for a father to sacrifice his son then himself that is why you see a father putting himself in front of his family to protect them from danger .When God the Father gave us Jesus it wasn’t because it was cheap and easy, it was the most expensive thing He could have given if God had anything more expensive He would have given it to us. He doesn’t hold back His Love not for you not for me not for anybody”

Another thing I do is to directly ask Catholics “Do you go to confession?” . It tells you a lot about their spiritual life real quick. I.E .( one lady was saying all the right stuff and she was catholic but when I asked her if she when to confession the answer was “No , she confesses directly to God” . I could not convince her that the confession is required)( another catholic lady when i asked about confession she started to shake the Holy Spirit was working on her conscience so strongly and I was being gentle )

I’m just a student here but a couple things I have noticed and learned about following “feelings”
*Never do anything sinful
*Be polite
*If something is to strange bring it to a spiritual direction
* It should follow proper authority structure
* Say a quick prayer asking God if it is His Will
* Be humble about them because you can still be tricked
* They should not stop you from carrying out your duties that are of God’s Will

With me I find that I am trying to save myself and God in His Love and Mercy is taking steps to correct this inside me AND God is doing it at His pace NOT my own LoL. I have had it happen where I started slipping into sin but graces rushed in to save me. Then feelings of anger come up at God saving me because I couldn’t save my self. Then God heals that dark garbage inside me but it is uncomfortable.

What I’ve been doing a lot recently when evangelizing is describing what repentance means, what some common serious sins are and good spiritual practices for repentance. I have talked to a number of people who have needed that. I also have talked to a number of Catholics where I have told them confession is required. I am more direct with my fellow Catholics

I really don’t mention the weight loss when giving a personal. I might have mentioned it once since I wrote it..
The testimony I have used most often recently is how COVID 19 scared me and I was afraid I could die so I decided to repent ( really bad repeated mortal sins) and go to confession but before I got to confession I was in my car wondering if I even could repent. Then I felt the Holy Spirit move inside me, like He was saying ” I’m still here Chris”. I went to confession and started again. I still struggle with certain types of pride in my spiritual life and that has been painful. LoL

I like using relationship examples to in my kerygma here is part of it :
” That God gave us his only Son Jesus Christ to die for us , let me clarify this if you are a father and you love your son who is harder to sacrifice yourself or your son” they answer son ( or you got to spell it out for them), then continue ” correct, a father puts himself in front of his family to protect them because his son’s life is more expensive to him than his own. One thing a friend of mine has done is to get a perpetual mass for a person ( sometimes religious orders offer these ) it seems like when she does this the person either gets closer to God or gets meaner. I’m guessing it is dependent on how their freewill acts to the graces.

I started the 8 day novena for receiving the Holy Spirit asking for charity, zeal, evangelizing and to preform healings . For a day or two I forgot zeal and because I couldn’t remember it I replaced it with humility and eventually kept it in the request with zeal. I added mostly spiritual healing to my to my “healings” partway through the novena. On the last day of novena I felt full of graces for evangelizing but with the graces there was this very clear “feeling” not to see my friend that day. I had planned on evangelizing in the mall and meeting her after ( just friends, not dating). I told her to pick me up from the mall ( I don’t have a car) but that didn’t feel right because it seemed rude so I ended up taking the bus to meet her . I only ended up evangelizing 1 young lady at the bus stop and the feeling having a fullness of graces subsided somewhere during this whole process. Latter when I started writing this for the course I got a clear glimpse that I made the decision to see my friend instead of going to the mall and evangelizing was based on me looking for my own chosen pleasure and not doing God’s Will. That night I felt graces encouraging me to keep asking for the Lord Holy Spirit and keep going and I had 3 good conversations in 5 or 6 total contacts today.
