Testimonial: Mary, a devout Catholic and St. Paul Street Evangelization Store customer, was leaving Mass recently when she spotted our Good News pamphlet at the back of the church. She took one to give to her brother Kenny during an upcoming visit to Florida. Kenny was critically ill, hospitalized, and nearing death. When Mary arrived and gave him the pamphlet, he promised he would read it at some point. The day before Easter, he finally picked it up. After reading it, he was deeply moved. He called Mary and asked what he should do now that he believed. She encouraged him to contact a local priest.

Kenny called a priest on Easter Sunday. That very night, the priest came to see him and administered Last Rites. On Monday, Kenny called Mary again…this time sitting up in bed and drinking tea! He wanted to share the news: he was improving. He is now off the critical list. Amazingly, a similar situation had occurred one year earlier with her older brother, Bobby, who had Stage 4 cancer. Mary gave him a Good News pamphlet as well. Today, he is going to Mass every Sunday and walking on his own. Bobby is now in remission…his cancer is still present, but shrinking.”
