I talked to a non-Christian waiter on a restaurant yesterday. I really had to consider what it is like to hear the message of salvation for the first time and with no real idea of what it all means. I had to give him little bits of information that he could relate to as a common human experience and then show him in simple terms the mercy of God in rescuing us from bondage to sin. It was refreshing to see his eyes open on even a short conversation. I will eat there again tomorrow and hope to follow up.
