For the Practical Activity for Lesson 1, before I began praying my nephew already came to mind. He is very wayward. Recently I had the opportunity to reach out to him but kinda blew it because of our state being on lockdown. I sent him a copy of two books. I was pretty sure he won’t read them. After I know he got them I tried texting him about them and did not get a response. But the second book’s delivery was delayed. When it arrived he texted me and said “This one I’ll read.” It was “The Truth Is Out There” published by Catholic Answers. I’ve heard nothing from him since.

I prayed for him and felt the urge to send him an encouraging text. I did. So far no response. My new aim is to pray more intentionally for him and text him once a week, something encouraging about God’s love for him. (He pretty much only communicates by text.)
