ParticipantI prayed that God would send laborers, and I saw the face of a woman I met at the Catholic Charismatic meetings well over a year ago. I told the Lord that I did not have her contact info so if He’s telling me to get in touch with her, I will need more help from Him!
Fast forward a couple weeks, while at the local farmers market a woman comes walking up and as I asked her if she would like a free rosary, I realized who she was!! It was the woman Jesus showed me!! She immediately said “this is awesome thank you for doing this!” And I asked her if she ever heard of St. Paul Street Evangelization and she said no. So I explained what it was and what we do and invited her to the training I am currently running and she came! She is so excited about it and I can’t wait to see what the Lord is doing in her and the rest of our team!Josette Peckman
ParticipantJust put it on my car and have it be on hand in case I encounter anyone the Holy Spirit tells me to evangelize. You’re familiar with the cube right? It’s just about the size of the rubix cube so it’s very mobile!!

ParticipantI have practiced the Kerygma many times alone out loud first. Then I ran through it with my neighbor/friend, who was open to it and she gave me a great idea to be able to spread the gospel message at anytime using the kerygma cube by keeping it in my car! I also practiced on my kids (teenagers…enough said), and my brother. It is definitely getting easier!

ParticipantI would have to agree that adoration of the blessed sacrament will jump start your faith journey! When I began, I knew the only way to keep going faithfully was to commit to an hour. I chose an early morning hour so I could be alone with the Lord. The first few visits hard, but grew over time to 2-3 hours. Now an hour is hardly enough! I have grown so much in that time. The chapel has since closed due to Covid, however, there are more churches offering holy hours during the week now, which is a blessing. Also, our Bishop has recently instituted a “year of the real presence” so I am so excited about what the upcoming year holds!

ParticipantI am talking the 3rd Christ Life program – Sharing Christ. They mention the hardest people to evangelize are your family members. I keep thinking of the scripture “a prophet is not without honor except in his hometown”. Those who are closest to us don’t honor us because they are so close to us.

ParticipantI have prayed asking the Holy Spirit to reveal one or two people to me who need conversion. At first I saw an elderly woman who I didn’t even recognize! I’m not sure what that was about! I was just watching her, paying attention to her hair, and face, the way she walked. Then suddenly my coworker’s name came to mind! I will pray for my coworkers conversion and also ways that I can serve her. I’m not going to forget about “mystery lady” though!! Who knows what God is up to!
