It’s time to put what we’ve learned into practice. Use everything you’ve learned in this lesson to do the following practical activity. This activity is meant to help solidify what you’ve learned in this lesson and apply it to your evangelizing. The activity has 5 steps:
- Read the stories of Adam and Noah (Genesis 1-3; 6-9). What parallels are there between Adam and Noah in terms of covenant?
- Ask yourself these questions: What insights from these covenants would be helpful in proclaiming the gospel? How would you use these insights to proclaim the Gospel to others? Take notes on your answers.
- Based on what you come up with, share the Gospel with a friend or family member.
- Choose another one of the OT covenants, read the corresponding biblical account,[1] and do the same activity with it that you have already done with the stories of Adam and Noah.
- When you are ready, please post in the School Forums about your experience doing this practical activity. There is a specific topic created for this. Also, give a constructive question or comment about the lesson, or somebody else’s post on their experience doing the practical activity. All of this is required for your Theology of Evangelization certificate of completion!
