ParticipantI have been praying the Liturgy of the Hours in the morning and evening. I also pray a daily rosary for the people I know who have left the church.
I recently started weekly adoration. What a difference that makes in my spiritual life! I sometimes pray the rosary during adoration or read the mass readings for the day.July 12, 2023 at 10:03 pm in reply to: Practical Activity for Course 5: Intro to the Spiritual Life of the Evangelist #9919Anika
ParticipantI like the idea of writing during adoration as well!

ParticipantWearing a miraculous medal is a great conversation starter for me. I met a lady who noticed it and told me she liked it. We started talking about prayer and ended up praying together. I also shared my testimony with her and her friend.

ParticipantI like the idea of setting up a table at a community dinner and offering prayer. Our church provides a dinner to the community twice a month; that would be a great place to offer prayer and miraculous medals!

ParticipantI shared my testimony with 2 different people. One is Catholic and another is Protestant. I got some good feedback from both. I found that, the more I practice and have these types of conversations, the easier it gets.

ParticipantI agree that it is hard to reach family. I have several family members who do not want to discuss this at all. Friends and even some strangers seem more willing to have a conversation about Jesus Christ. Good advice to pray that God brings them someone who can reach them

ParticipantWhat a great idea!

ParticipantI spoke with my husband about this activity. He gave some great feedback ( I talked a little too fast and too long), and it led to a really good conversation about how we can reach out to some friends who are confused about what to believe.

ParticipantI really liked the introduction!
I am praying for several friends all of whom grew up in the Catholic faith but no longer believe. I will be praying a daily rosary for them. -
