I’d like to thank all of you for joining me for these lessons as we move through Scripture. If you reflect back on what we’ve done, we’ve actually moved from Genesis through Revelation. We’ve tried to present the whole of what’s called the kerygma, which is the good news, the message, the narrative, the story of how God has saved us.
I hope that as we’ve moved through these lessons, you’ve begun to grasp how every part of God’s revelation is related to our salvation. Every part is relevant for evangelization. That’s something that Pope Francis is emphasizing a great deal. He speaks about how every part of the Bible is salvific and that’s why he’s making a big push in his pontificate for greater appreciation of Scripture. You knew the kerygma already, but I hope that as we’ve moved through Scripture, you’re appreciation for the Gospel message for the kerygma has deepened and you’ve begun to see how each section of Scripture, as we’ve gone through the Old Testament into the New is integrated, how it relates how it builds up to ultimately Christ’s Paschal Mystery, His death and resurrection, His saving act and what that has won for us.
I wish you all the best and my prayers are with you. It’s such a delight and privilege for me personally as a convert to the Catholic Church to be part of your training as evangelists on behalf of the Church. I’d like to pray with and for you right now, so let’s do that together.

Heavenly Father, we come to you now and I’d like to lift up to you, Lord, all those students who have watched these lessons and participated in them. Lord, wherever they may be in their different ministry situations and their different environments of evangelization, give them an extra measure of your Holy Spirit. Give them the joy, the power, and the courage of the Holy Spirit to do the work of proclamation that they have been called to by their baptisms. I ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord and in the Name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
