What: The Virtual Street Evangelization Workshop is a hands-on evangelization training event designed specifically for street evangelization. When so many efforts to promote the New Evangelization are focused primarily on catechesis about evangelization, this workshop teaches Catholics, no matter their previous education or experience, how to share their faith effectively and enthusiastically with the people they encounter out on the street.
During this workshop, you will hear presentations by experienced evangelists that teach and model the SPSE method of direct evangelization. After each lesson participants will get a chance to practice and sharpen their skills in small group breakout sessions. The workshop equips participants with the skills and confidence they need to start evangelizing.
Among the skills you will learn are:
- How to start and direct a conversation towards faith in Jesus and the Church
- How to share what God has done in your life
- How to share the Gospel message
- How to pray out loud with someone
- How to invite someone to a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ

I attended the November 2020 workshop and came back for more with the February 2021 workshop. Now I am starting the first St. Paul Street Evangelization team in my state. These workshops are so inspiring. They show that it is not hard to share the love that God has given us with others, it just takes a small “yes” and God does a lot with that. SPSE helps sooo much too! The resources are amazing, the support and guidance and leadership is a gift from God. I am growing in confidence each week and sharing my Faith has become a regular part of my daily life. If you are at all interested definitely check the workshop out. I had it on my heart for over 2 years to learn more about what SPSE was all about. I definitely wanted to join a team but there were none in my state, I doubted that I’d ever find anyone interested in starting a team with me —all I can say is God proved me wrong. My team is having our first outing in less than a month!
To summarize everything, I recommend the workshops for every Catholic period. We are all called to share our faith with others, I’m sure just about all of us know someone in our life that has either fallen away or has not yet been presented with the Truth. This workshop is especially for you too. So my advice is sign up, trust God and get ready to share His love! I’ll see you at the next workshop because I’m going back for more! Each time I go my confidence, zeal, and love for God and my neighbor grow, at this point I can’t stay away! 🙂
