After a half-day of training in the classroom, we had the opportunity to do some real-time street evangelization. We followed the format above, and we found that the people we encountered were very receptive not only to a rosary or miraculous medal, but also to a prayer. It was an eye-opening experience that I’m looking forward to doing again soon.

I asked the Holy Spirit to help me with my evening examination of conscience and exam prayer. I see and hear areas where I need to soften my heart.

I’m just going to throw my testimony out to everyone and see what they think. Here it is.
As a cradle Catholic, I was raised in the faith and attended a parochial school, where I was baptized, received my First Communion, and was confirmed. However, as a young adult, I found myself drifting away from the Church. After marrying, my wife, who discovered her faith while on a medical mission in South America, encouraged me to reconnect with God and the community. Initially, I distanced myself from the Church, using its sex scandal as an excuse, which only reflected my own struggles and shortcomings rather than being a true justification for my departure.

During this period of separation, I became consumed by licentiousness, which led to significant turmoil in my life, even as I sought to reintegrate into the Church. One night, I experienced a powerful dream that transformed my understanding of my faith. In this dream, I felt as though I was flipped and pinned to the ground, unable to move, as if my guardian angel was holding me in place. In front of me, a figure cloaked in darkness stalked down a pitch-black arched pathway, illuminated only by a faint candle that revealed the sinister nature of the figure—Satan himself. This representation of evil served as a stark reminder of the forces that seek to lead us astray and brought forth a profound call to action.

My awakening came when my wife tenderly shook me awake, telling me I had been having a nightmare. This moment was unusual for me, as I had never been disturbed by nightmares before, nor have I experienced such a dream since. It became a pivotal turning point in my life, a divine call from God urging me to embrace my faith fully and undergo personal transformation. It reminded me of the importance of nurturing my relationship with Christ and the Church, grounding my life in prayer, Sacraments, and the teachings of the faith. Through this experience, I reaffirmed my commitment to living a life rooted in love, faith, and service, and I am grateful for the grace that God has guided me back to the arms of the Church.

Every morning and evening, I pray the Lord’s Prayer in Latin. I ask the Lord to guide me throughout the day in all my activities and to help me glorify Him in every way.

During the week, I spend time in Eucharistic adoration, where I usually pray the rosary and sometimes take moments to reflect on His omnipotence.

Additionally, I have a list of intentions that I pray for during my rosary. This list includes Pope Francis, friends diagnosed with cancer, and individuals with whom I don’t particularly get along.

I did my first street evangelization about two weeks ago. I was blown away by the receptiveness of the people I encountered. Statements such as, “Would you like a rosary or a miraculous metal? “Can I say a prayer for you?” was very effective. I had so many misconceptions about this, and now I’m very enthused about bringing this to our church! “

I’ve prayed for the Holy Spirit to bring my brother and two sisters back to Catholicism. My sisters are of faith but have fallen away from the church. My brother is fixated on worldly things, and talking to him about faith remains very superficial. I will double my efforts in prayer.
